The only permanent hair removal solution — not reduction

Your information, handled with care

Privacy Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Absolutely No Hair (also doing business as Absolutely Permanent Hair Removal), with studios in Berlin and Shelton, Connecticut, collects, uses, and safeguards information about visitors to our website and clients of our electrolysis practice. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you book a consultation, request a callback, submit our contact form, or sign up for promotional offers, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, preferred studio, the areas you want treated, and any notes you choose to share about your skin or hair.

Information collected automatically. Our website logs basic, non-identifying analytics — page paths, the referring site, the campaign source (UTM tags) when present, and an anonymous session identifier. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell this data.

Information collected during treatment. When you become a client, we keep notes about your treatment areas, session history, and any sensitivities or contraindications you disclose. These records are used only to deliver safe and effective care.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments.
  • To answer questions you've submitted through our forms or by phone.
  • To send appointment reminders, occasional service updates, or — only with your permission — promotional offers.
  • To maintain accurate treatment records and provide continuity of care.
  • To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
  • To comply with applicable Connecticut state and federal laws.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business — such as our booking platform (Square), email and SMS providers, hosting provider, and payment processor — and only to the extent they need it to provide their service.
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our staff and clients.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and local-storage entries to keep your session working, remember which studio you've selected, suppress repeat displays of our promotional pop-up, and exclude staff devices from analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear or disable cookies in your browser settings; some features (like the studio selector) may not work as expected if you do.

5. Payment information

Payments are processed through Square. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Square's handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.

6. Data retention

We keep client records for as long as you remain an active client and for a reasonable period afterward to meet recordkeeping, accounting, and legal obligations. Website analytics records are retained for up to twelve months.

7. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold — including secure server hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted staff access, and locked file storage for physical records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep yours safe.

8. Your choices and rights

You may at any time:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal and recordkeeping limits.
  • Unsubscribe from promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link, or from SMS by replying STOP.

To make any of these requests, contact us at marta@AHLCtr.com.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Clients under 18 may be treated only with documented consent from a parent or legal guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, post a notice on the site for a reasonable period.
